What are these modules?

The "Enterprise Docs" section in this manual covers features related to files, collaborative documents, and notes within the current project. There isn't just a single sidebar category named "Enterprise Docs"; rather, the product utilizes a combination of access points:

Capability Access Point (Typical) Purpose
Enterprise Docs Space "More" (top-right of feature page) → Enterprise Docs Tenant-level file repository: directory, upload, and online editing for text-based files
Document Management (Doc Tree) Projects → Other → Document Management Tree-structured directory and file nodes organized by "Document Projects"
Documentation List Projects → Other → Documentation List CMS-style collaborative documents (rich text, category tags, publishing, etc.)
Note List Projects → Other → Note List; or Settings → My Notes Project-specific / personal notes (page title usually reads "My Notes")
Enterprise Docs Assistant — In Development (placeholder page; no sidebar entry yet)

Subscription Plans and Sidebar Visibility

The appearance of the Other sidebar section (containing Document Management, Documentation List, Note List, etc.) depends on the current project's plan navigation configuration (plan_features.navigation). If the project_other feature is not enabled for the project, the "Other" group will not appear in the sidebar; however, you can still access the following:

  • "More" → Enterprise Docs on various business pages
  • Settings → My Notes
  • Schedule → Notes (Schedule Notepad; distinct from the Notes list—see below)

Two Key Distinctions

  1. Enterprise Docs ≠ Document Management
The former refers to the file repository (object storage) that slides out from the right; the latter refers to the document tree items found under "Document Management" in the sidebar.
  2. Document List ≠ Document Management
When opening the "Document List" from the sidebar, the page title may display as "Document Management" (referring to CMS documents); do not confuse this with the document tree.
