User Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: September 2026
xeromike respects your privacy and provides users with the ability to request deletion of personal data and data obtained through third-party platforms, including Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
This page explains how you can disconnect your Meta account from xeromike and request deletion of data associated with your account.
1. Disconnecting Facebook or Instagram from xeromike
If you have connected a Facebook Page or Instagram professional account to xeromike, you may disconnect the account at any time through the relevant account or integration settings within xeromike.
After disconnecting the integration, xeromike will no longer use the authorization to access new data from the disconnected Facebook or Instagram account.
You may also revoke xeromike's permissions directly through your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
Revoking access or disconnecting an account does not necessarily delete data that was previously stored as part of your use of xeromike.
If you want previously stored data to be deleted, please submit a data deletion request as described below.
2. Requesting Deletion of Your Data
You may request deletion of personal data associated with your xeromike account, including data obtained through Facebook or Instagram.
To request deletion, please contact xeromike through our contact page, by email at privacy@xeromike.com, or through the customer support channel available within the xeromike platform.
Your request should include enough information for us to identify the relevant account or connected service, such as:
- Your xeromike account information
- The Facebook Page or Instagram account connected to xeromike
- The email address associated with your xeromike account
- A description of the data you would like us to delete
For security and privacy reasons, we may need to verify your identity or ownership of the relevant account before processing the deletion request.
3. Data That May Be Deleted
Depending on the services you have used, a deletion request may include data such as:
- Facebook Page IDs and Page information
- Instagram professional account IDs and account information
- Information retrieved through Meta APIs
- Meta authorization and access-token information stored by xeromike
- Connected-account configuration information
- Social media content or metadata stored within xeromike
- Personal information associated with your xeromike account
- Other data associated with the relevant Facebook or Instagram integration
When applicable, authorization credentials and access tokens associated with the disconnected integration will also be removed or invalidated.
4. Data We May Be Required to Retain
We will delete the requested data unless we are required or permitted to retain certain information for legitimate purposes, including:
- Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Accounting, tax, or financial record requirements
- Fraud prevention and security
- Resolving disputes
- Enforcing contractual obligations
- Protecting the rights and security of xeromike, our users, or third parties
Any retained information will only be kept for the period required for the applicable legal or legitimate purpose.
5. Processing of Deletion Requests
After receiving and verifying a valid deletion request, we will process the request within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Once deletion has been completed, the relevant data will no longer be available through xeromike, except where retention is legally required.
Some information may remain temporarily in encrypted backups or system logs until those backups are automatically rotated or deleted as part of our normal data-retention procedures.
6. Removing xeromike from Facebook
You may also remove xeromike directly from your Facebook account.
You can generally manage connected apps through your Facebook account settings under:
Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites
Locate xeromike or the relevant application and choose the option to remove or revoke access.
The exact menu names may change as Meta updates its services.
Removing the application from Facebook prevents future authorized access through that connection. If you also want previously stored data deleted from xeromike, please submit a deletion request using the procedure described in this document.
7. Removing xeromike from Instagram
If your Instagram account is connected to xeromike through Meta authorization, you may revoke the application's access through the relevant Instagram or Meta account settings.
You may also disconnect the Instagram integration directly from xeromike.
Revoking authorization prevents xeromike from accessing new data through that authorization but does not necessarily delete previously stored data.
To request deletion of previously stored data, please follow the procedure described in Section 2.
